Embrace home loans did well for me. I recieved a mailing offering me 4.5 % on refinance and decide to call. Reviewed all the articles here and was apprehensive at first however, realized people were complaining because it didn't work out for them. It worked out great for me.
They charged me 400.00 dollars to appraise the value of my home, it came out higher than i needed and I was able to go from 7.3% to 4.5% with embrace. The loan officer did not return my call all the time but I assume he is as busy as I am. The loan process was quick and painless and I am now going to pay my house off sooner and have consolodated my bills into one.
To those who have complaints, obviously your home isn't the value you want and the loan officer wants to give you the loan. That is the only way he gets money. As far as appraisal goes they have nothing to do with this, if they did everyone would get a loan. Dahhh!
