I was having tax problems after my Divorce. So I contacted J K HArris after seeing an AD on TV. I worked out of state, so I took the day off and met with two of their Reps.in Augusta. We set up an account and an amount. I finally felt the weight off my shoulders. Gave them my credit card to daft out the fees per month. Then after having no contact for months.
I finally had to get another credit card to keep from having fees dafted. The credit could not help me with the dispute because of time laspe. So I learn another hard lesson in life. So I finally got in contact with another Rep. Of JK HARRIS, she said she could help. But in the meantime I contacted another Tax advisor to help me. I told the rep. That I would be requesting a refund. So I tool the nessary steps. Fax them a letter. And this is their reponse.

I'm requesting a refund for the Monies I've already paid the company. I feel that J Harris had plenty of time to help me with my taxes. I left numerous messages with the company before I found out that the Original handlers were replaced by another. That was appox. 3 months after. I finally got in touch with another rep. And she advise me she could help. The problem is I've already contacted another Tax attorney to help me. I told her that I would be requesting a refund. I know these problems happen but please put yourself in my position. When you can't get a response from a company you hired to help with a problem, that left me with no alternative.

So what I'm trying to do is Inform People before they fall VICTIM to this company. I have no record of expenses. Lets see, if they make no contact with clients, what should the fees be? I also tried to contact M LINDER by phone. I was told she does not take calls from clients!!!
So I e-mailed her before I received my letter. Her reply was, she would try to help. Give me your client # and I'll see what I can do to assit you. Well after receiving my letter, I e-mailed her again. This time I havent received any reply. Whats wrong with this picture? I"M GLAD I STOPPED MY DRAFT, OR THEY WOULD STILL BE GETTING MONEY FOR NOTHING.
Taxes are a way of life. Don't feel lonely. Talk about it. You'll be suprise of how many of us are in trouble. We look for companies to help us and this is what happens. Put all our trust in them. They make you feel good when you leave, BUT MISERABLE AS HELL LATER.
I got to where I couldn't sleep or eat good without taking a shot of Crown and Coke before I went to bed. But now I have a CPA that is costing me the same. Dam I should have checked out JK HARRIS on the net before. Who WOULD HAVE THUNK IT.
