Portfolio Recovery Associates called me from 412-282-1421 to my private cell phone number and played a game of giving me a false social security number, so they could then get mine. I refused because the information they gave me was incorrect. I then asked them to take my number off their list, and they never actually helped me to do so. I'm not sure what they are up to, but it definitely doesn't sounds legit.
