I have been a customer of Litton for about two years and never missed a payment up until I was laid off in February. I was one day late and the phone calls started. Sometimes several calls a day. I managed to make my payment before months end and they charged me over $160.00 in late fees. That was excessive but it doesn't end there.
I contacted them and stated that I would not be able to make the March payment until April because I am still unemployed and my wife is scheduled to start a new job in April. They said fine that they would make a note of it. The next day the phone calls started again - every day and sometimes several calls a day from persons who were less than cordial. They have made me feel like I am some kind of criminal.
I am a teacher and professional with two college degrees and not an idiot! I want satisfaction, and would love to hear from others who have been victimized in the same way as me. I did not choose to be laid off but Litton has made me feel that it was all my fault and that I am some kind of deadbeat.
