I was offered a preapproved low interest credit card to pay off other high interest credit cards which I signed up for on-line. I requested 3 credit cards with approx. $1000 each be transferred for a total of $3000. Well they only approved me for $1000 credit limit, BUT paid off 2 credit cards giving me a $2000 balance. The first bill said my minimum payment was $1000 and they charged me an over limit fee!!! I called and spoke to multiple people without any success. After finally getting a supervisor the best I could get was they would waive the over limit fee and interest for 2 months. Yes, this is better than nothing, but I shouldn't have to come up with this money when it wasn't my mistake! I only wanted them to increase my credit limit or return the balance to the other card, but now since they are so rude and unhelpful, I want them to go down! These credit card companies have got to be reigned in. They are screwing us all.
