I had never heard of Associated Recovery Systems before today, and wish I never had. I want to withdraw money from my credit card, and it wasn't there. I immediately called my credit provider, and listened to my last transactions. It seems someone, (someone not me) had credited ARS most of my funds. Now, it should be known that I do not have good credit.in googling ARS I read that this company is a debt collector, and I do, indeed, owe one.
(Capital One) My current card is pre-paid in cash at a rite aid in my neighborhood, here, in New Orleans. It has been cancelled, and my money is being retrieved. However, it does appear to me that only two things could have happened here; Either someone stole my information to pay off their debt to ARS, or ARS took the money from my account themselves. Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else?
