I received a letter from Chase Bank for an overdrawn account that was sent to collations and reported to Chex System. I went to the back in order to pay the fees and was told i had to pay though Chex Systems. I google the number and the first one to show up was for Chex Systems Recovery. I called the company and they stated I would pay them and they would clear up the debt owed and get me taken off Chex systems. After not receiving any information i folloed up with the company and they were rude and did not want to give me any information. They sent no correspondance, confirmation or anything. I though this odd and after some research found out this was not Chex Systems and actually a third Party. I went to the bank and had them call to which this company told the bank rep this was a recovery fee. Now this recovery fee just happened to be the same amount as i owed the bank. Chase explained they have no affiliaition and when i finally got a hold of the real Chex Systems they also stated they have no affiliation. This company is a total and complete fraud. My credit card company did not do a thing either so i have to file with the Federal Trade commission.
