Paul Sherman stated I was approved for a loan, then took my down payment and sent me nothing

I was looking online for a possible loan and Paul Sherman contacted me and informed me that I had been approved for $7500 from Winsted Lending.

After I faxed all the information requested to him, he called me and told me that because of my poor credit rating, I needed to make a down payment of $915 and then the loan would be in my account within three to four hours.

I do not even bring home that much money, so he got it approved for me to send $760 plus Western Union fees of $66 to make the total $826. He then said that as soon as this was received, the loan would be placed in my account.

I talked with him later in the evening and he stated that he did not understand why it was not in my account yet.

After that I could never get him again. I finally got a call back from a customer service rep who stated that because of my poor credit rating I would need to send more money. After I informed him that was not what was agreed upon, I asked him for a refund. He stated that I could not get a refund until 30 days. Needless to say, I have never received a refund and their phone is not working now.
