Hard Times - Bad Customer Service - CARECREDIT CREDIT CARD

Today I called care credit to make a payment on my brother's account. He recently lost his job and I wanted to help him with paying off some bill. With the account information on hand I dialed 1-800-292-7508, stated my name and the reason of my call (this is my brother’s account) and was put on hold.

After sometime the person on the other end (customer service) stated in a rude manner that I could not make a payment. I told him that I did not want any account info, all I wanted was to give my credit card info. I said "take my money please" again I was put on hold. Then I was told if you don’t get your brother on the phone right now I will hang up. WHAT & who does business that way? I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for the third time. Then I was told that a supervisor would tell me the same thing. To which I replied, that is fine and I understand company policy but there is no need for the rudeness and unprofessional manner in which you are speaking to me. I said thank you for your time and kindly said I was hanging up.

It is very sad that in this economy and hard times we are all facing companies don’t have better policies for accepting payments and that they do not value how consumers are treated. If you are a great company, I will be your great customer for life, be rude and unkind and you will not get my money.
