I was approved for credit and paid the account off before the promotional period. Wal-Mart and CareCredit are both connected to GeMoney.
I begin to struggle with payments on a Wal-Mart account and a CSR called and offered me a payoff amount and I accepted. What the CSR did not tell me is that by accepting the payoff amount it would affect my credit. Later I needed some more dental work done and applied for credit and was denied. I beleve this is unfair since I paid my first account off and in a timely manner.
Had I known accepting the payoff amount on the Wal-Mart account would affect my CareCredit standings I would not have accepted the payoff and would have paid the entire amount due. Companies like these sure makes it hard for a person to survive in a struggling economy.
