Household reported that they were unable to locate me and that they charged off my loan as a result, but I had made payment for over a year. I've been trying for three weeks, speaking to every person imaginable to get this resolved. Every time I called to speak to a manager, I would get put on hold for 20-30 minutes and they I would get a voicemail.
I finally got them to write a letter saying that they messed up because I am in the process of buying a home which they did, but did not get into detail what they were fixing. Now, it's showing up on my credit report that I've been late every month and they are even reporting me twice, making my debt to them twice what it is supposed to be.
I will be refinancing to a local company as soon as possible because the customer service is awful, and no one wants to help when you need it. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with in my entire life.
