Ripoff - deceptive company changed due date of payment three times making payment late

Household Auto Finance changed the due date of my payments three different times without giving me any notification. This caused my payments to be late and unreasonable late fees charged, which totalled in excess of two hundred and fifty dollars.

With the late payments it made it impossible to refinance my loan after one year which was agreed upon. It took almost three years before I was finally able to refinance and lower my outrageously high payments.

Household also has been charging an extra twenty dollars a month to my account for what they call "forced pay insurance." This is added because they keep insisting that I do not have insurance on my car. I have sent papers to them via fax on several occasions showing proof of insurance, as did my insurance company. They insist that they never recieved the proof of insurance they need.

The fees they keep adding on are making it impossible to bring the payoff of my car down. I have tried to get another finance company to refinance, but now the payoff is more than double the value of the car and no one wants to refinance it.

I've tried everything I know to try. Maybe you can help.
