Seahawk Strategies Misrepresentation of service through untruthful statements

David Wolfe from Global Fortune Network contacted me by phone on a Wednesday regarding my interest in their services. Our conversation on Wednesday mainly consisted in him telling me how trustworthy he was as a retired policeman and ex parole officer. He explained financial gain could be made by helping people with their credit card debt. That I could earn $200 for every person I signed up for Global. That there was a fee of $150.00 for Global to build me a website and maintain it and that there would be a hosting fee of $24.95 per month. I told him I would think about it and call him back at the number he gave me of 855-856-2652, ex 311.

David called me back the next day (Thursday) to ask if I was ready to sign up. I told him I had a few more questions. I asked him if I had to send out a bunch of emails and he said no. I asked him how people would find my website and he stated that Global had a bunch of phone operators who took calls and then forwarded them to the appropriate website for their area. My next question was "if there are 10 of us in Edgewood, who does Global select who they give the client to?" His answer was that there would not be even 10 sites between Washington & Oregon. I asked him how I would be paid and he said by a monthly check from Global. I told him I would need one more day to think it over and would call him back.

On Friday I called David with a few more questions one of which was about the hosting fee. He told me that he would defer the first month's hosting fee and the cost for me to sign up would be $174.95 which actually included the hosting fee. He then told me that future hosting fees would be deducted from my earnings check each month. I asked him what I had to do after my website was established and he said "practically nothing." I gave him my Discover Card number and he then told me that the charges to my account would show up as Seahawk Strategies which was part of Global.

On May 27, I received an email from Jennifer Sandhu from Global confirming my order and emailing me their contract which I was supposed to sign and email back. One of the first things I noticed was that the contract states that the hosting fee would be charged to my Discover Card every month. There were other discrepancies as well from what David told me and what the contract actually stated. I immediately declined to sign the contract.

I emailed Global that I wanted my $150.00 and the $24.95 that they charged to my Discover Card credited back. I called Global and left a message on the customer service answering machine that I wanted my money back and I called David Wolfe and left a message on his voice mail that I wanted my money credited back. The next day I received a call from Justin Rahn who is apparently the owner of Global. He asked why I was requesting the refund that I told him. When I told him that David Wolfe stated to me that Global would be sending me the clients, Justin told me that is not how it works. I would be responsible for bringing in the clients. There were also other things that David told me that were not true. Justin said he would review the tape of my conversation with David Wolfe and would get back to me.

Shortly after my conversation with Justin, David Wolfe called me. I explained to him that I had just talked to Justin and that they were not on the same page at all as to how Global's program works. I told David that I just wanted my money back and he said, "I will take care of it."

Today, June 7, there is still no credit on my Discover Card account. I tried calling the customer service number and there is no answer. I called David Wolfe and just get his voice mail. I called and pressed 1, which is the number for new enrollment and the person who answered said he was the receptionist. When I mentioned the name David Wolfe, he said he did not know of anyone working there by that name. When I asked for customer service, he said I would have to call them direct. I called direct to customer service at 877-727-4436 and there was still no answer. I finally called back and pressed 2, which is the number for Marketing and talked to Alexa. She tried to get me through to Justin, but apparently he was tied up on some kind of lengthy call that would take half an hour. She said she would take my file into Justin and would email me a response today.

Two hours have elapsed since that conversation and still no contact from them by either phone or email.

I believe this outfit just wants to scam people out of their money. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company regarding these charges that total $174.95.
