Having missed no payments, never been late on payment, and never paying less than minimum payment. Bank one rewarded me by increasing my interest rate from prime plus 0% to a amazing 15.99 %. By doing this they put me over limit and also added a $35.00 over the limit fee. As soon as I found out about this I transfered all for my amounts to a personal loan and left Banc one with a 0 Balance on which they raised my interest rate to 17.99 % and charged me an additional over the limit fee of $35.00 on a 0 balance and charged me a interest charge of $93.00 on a 0 balance.
Bank one a very bad risk for any individual. Found that they sent a letter stating that i need to write them and tell them that i was to opt out of this rate increase. Of course it was the very small print. Beware all. To date this two month fiasco has cost me over $350.00 and it is still adding up. I am now being charging interest on the interest they charged for a 0 balance. P.S. 2nd $35.00 late fee was charged on 2/4/04.
Per their records the account was at 0 on 1/22/04. Would love to see a class action law suit. Will end up paying thousands of $ more to get out of this debt due to their actions.
