Repair Advantage Max (GMAC) Insurance
Company not Honoring Contract

In November I took my 2002 Land Rover Freelander to the dealership because I noticed the collant was disapearing but not spilling out. They told me it was it was a T-stat Assembly. Four months later it began to do the same thing. Now Land Rover is telling me it needs a new engine. My extended warranty has put many road blokcs to avoid paying for the repairs. The representative kept asking for oil change receipts without explaining why or what dates. I gave them all I could find since I owned the car for five years. They denied my claim but did so without allowing Land Rover to see what the damage is to the car. Their excuse is that my not having receipts to prove the oil has been changed for the last five years proves the car was damaged due to that. I gave them receipts for 2010 (2) and 2011 (2).

The car was bought used and as I told them why don't they ask the dealership to get receipts from the previous owner but they won't. They said lack of oil changes caused the damage yet they did not allwow the dealership to find out what or even if the engine is dameged. They allowed me a rental car but when they denied the repair they charged me $839.00 for it. The representative has not even had the courtesy to contact me personally. To this day they have not told me how many more receipts I'm supposed to turn in. I have driven the car less than 7000 miles a year and it only has 53,000 miles on it. This is an extremely trying time for me since I have a disabled brother I care for and two learning disabled little nieces who depend on me for transportation. I need for someone to help me. Thank you.
