Rumson Bolling Associates (RBA) contacted me asking if I had any persons owing me money or any delinquent accounts needing collection and stated that they were a debt collection agency. I provided them with a name of someone owing me money and they were very eager to provide me there services.
In a matter of weeks they got in contact with the person owing me the money and informed me that they had enough edvidence to proceed forward with the collection process. RBA said that they were able to identify that this individual had a bank account with a few thousands of dollars in it and that they would be able to sequester the funds. However; I would need to give them some monies for their lawyers to start the recovery process... So I did.
Several weeks had passed with no further development, those weeks turned into months. I called RBA several times to find out what the status of my case was and continually got the run around. Then finally 12 months after opening this case I got a call from RBA. They told me that my case was being handled by a different represenative and that they had good news for me. The good news was that they identified that this individual had a bank account with a few thousands of dollars in it and that they would be able to sequester the funds. However; I would need to give them some monies for their lawyers to start the recovery process... Sound familiar?
I told them that I already had given them money for that process and that I wasn't going to give them any more money. I told them to take that additional money out of the money that was to be recovered. RBA told me that they do not do business that way and that it would be a much longer process if they were to do that and thats why they don't.
They did want to know if I had any other people owing me money and that they would start a recovery process on them if I wanted them to. I explained to them or reminded them of the first case that they are still working on with no results as of yet, 14 months so far! They are a joke and a company that takes advantage of people during stressful times. Stay away from this company as you will lose more money using their substandard services.
