While applying for a home loan i found out that it was reported to the credit bureau that I had late fees with Fleet C C. I have never had any account with them let alone a late fee.
They have my name and social Sec.#, but only reported my account number with nine numbers.
I called their company to let them know there has been a mistake, but could not get in because they kept asking for my seventeen number account. What can I do about these people? They say I owe them 2000 dollars. Chuck in Kansas
