Likely if you are registered as a corporation in the State of Colorado they probably have your company name & address. You will receive a document in the mail claiming to be a fee that Colorado corporations need to pay as an annual fee for remaining in Good Standing with the Secretary of State. The fee is $225.00 payable by check to a PO Box in Denver.
The document looks very convincing, with a seal logo on upper left and language about how corporations must submit a fee along with Periodic Report. There is a form at the bottom of the contract with Entity Informtion for the corp. To fill out.
In the document they site what looks to be state law (7-90-501 C.R. S) indicating you must submit a periodic report.
The form is very official looking and almost fooled me, as I don't follow what fees my corp. Pays very closely. Fortunately, someone on my staff smelled a rat. Thank goodness for web sites like usacomplaints.com or I would have wasted $225.00.
See image of the document.
