I sign up for the health finance card. I've always payed ontime and automated. You can see that they have recuring payments at the link I provided you.
I later find out that they no longer offer recurring payment without notification. I also find out they if the payment is on the weekend AND/OR on a holiday that you much pay the day before. Again no notification.
So I not only had to pay the late fee but also 2 payments.
I also called there customer service number 888-519-6444 Hours of Operation: Monday Sunday, 8:00 A.M. To 8:00 P.M. EST and they gave me a payment date that was on the weekend. When I confirmed that we now have to make the payment the day before he said yes. I asked him why did you give me a weekend date he gave an explanation that the goverment doesn't allow them to give us any other date. It was a good thing I also checked otherwise that would have been another late payment PLUS if this happens a 2nd time I have to pay a 29% interest.
