FCNB is the worst company I have had a credit with. Since Eddie Bauer/Spiegel stopped excepting payments at their locations, it has been impossible to reach a LIVE PERSON at FCNB.
Today I read "Christina's" message regarding FCNB. And she is correct, the number provided 516.576.8706 is nothing but an automated phone system; but that is the ONLY number been provided. Thank you, Christina for posting the 866.503.0872, phone number. All I need is to make a payment and all I get is an outgoing message without any LIVE AGENT HELP.
FCNB has been charging late fees on my account even when payment is received. I have asked for theses fees to be reverse they just request a letter to be sent in explaining why the fee should be reverse, I have claimed to the agent "because you have received the payment but they are NO HELP, this company doesn't' care about Customer Service or about it's CUSTOMERS!!! The few agents I have managed to REACH LIVE seem to act that my phone call interrupted their day. We are the Customers, we should be able to access our accounts and ask questions about the account.
After reading these complaints, I am just going to pay this debt off and request a letter confirming that the debt was paid. To avoid any future problems. And that would be my advice to anyone still dealing with this company, pay it off but GET IT ON WRITING.
I hope some agency looks into these complains because this is not FAIR TO ANY CONSUMER.
