Theese two companys are one in the same. I recieved a call from gotech first giving me the whole rundown about how i had been approved for a credit card from 5 different banks, and needed to give them my account info for VERIFICATION purposes only. We went through a whole process of me stating several times that there was no money to come from my account and the gentelman agreed. I was reluctant to give my info and did however state the name of my bank. He then proceeded to tell me my routing number, which was correct. With him being able to get this info i figured he was lagit. BOY WAS I WRONG.
At the end of the call i was supposed to get a number to call to cancel, but was disconnected before the number was given. A couple days later another representative called and said we had to go throught the process again because we were disconnected. I again stated several times, this time to two different people that they could not take money out of my account. Yes mam, they replied, only for verification purposes. At the begining of the recording the statement, "You understand that no information from this call is saved correct?" and you answer yes or no. To me that says, your info is not saved. We can't take money if we don't save your info. Am i right?
Well they did.in fact between the two calls there was a 219.99 debit to my account, and a 249.99 debit to my account. Not to mention bounced check fees, and overdraft fees. Fortunatly, my bank reinbursed me of the fees from them, and allowed me to file a dispute for the funds. Unfortunatly, this takes any where from three to six weeks. I have a house payment that is due, the first house payment i have ever had, and the money is not there because of theese fools. When i called the company about this they said they didn't care what i did, because they have me recorded saying that i agree, and guess what? They do. How did that happen?
