Sends bill after due date then collects late fees

This is now the second time this has happened to me. I received my statement on January 17. The due date for payment is listed as January 10. The due date had already passed, so any payment would be subject to a late fee.

I called the customer service number and was told basically that there is nothing they can do and cannot remove or waive any late fees.

The man on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me. That was only after I waited on the phone for 45 minutes to get a representative. I asked him to speak to a supervisor and he said there were none. I then asked for the corporate phone number and he refused.

I always pay my bills on time and I refuse to be taken advantage of by a big corporation. Who knows how many other people this is happening to. A $25.00 late fee doesn't seem like much, but if they do this to thousands of people, it adds up.
