Brought all tax forms to HR Block to have taxes filed. We are SeniorCitizens on ss & pensions with summer PT jobs in Utica, NY when we visit our children during the summer months (5Mths) Our total tax amt was probably not more than $45,000 before any ded. We have no business related expenses just the ordinary. Told them to use whatever filing procedure our filing would be necessary. When finished we were told charges were slightly over $400 but would be reduced to just a little over $200. Every other yr with higher gross income we were only charged $60 for our taxpreparation from a cpa. We feel that we are being charged an exhorbitant amt. We were told the manager would call us back when we complained to them but have not as yet heard from him.
