I have been very loyal customer to Alaska Airlines credit card issued by Bank of America. My monthly spending ranged anywhere from $2500 to $7000, and I have been making my monthly due in full ON TIME. Twice in the last 3 months, on Dec. 2010 and Feb. my due date (the 5th) fell on the weekends. Therefore, my payment were posted on the next Monday, 6th and 7th respectively. I just found out with surprise that I got charged a big time. They charged $87.95 and $47.46 of "interest charge" on top of the late fees of $25 and $23.
I called the back and disputed the charges. The sales rep., Joshua, refused to waive the charges.
I liked the card because I thought I could save a lot of flight ticket fees with my expenses. Turn around I spend more for nothing gained. I will never use their card again.
