On January 21 I found out that BOA was closing my account. I was told that the process takes 10-15 days to close and once it is closed up to 30days after any direct deposits that come in I will be able to get at a banking center. Well on January 28th my federal refund was send to my account and now they are telling me that they will not let me get my money. I spent all of Friday on the phone with the Risk department, account repersentives, and everyone of the 10 different people I talked to told me they didnt have the deposit and if it come in I would not get it that they would send it back. On Saturday, I called ther ACH department at BOA and they have the money. I was told that they hold it for 72hrs. (not sure why since it is from goverment) I called the risk department back and told them what the ACH department told me and I was then informed that the rule is anything that comes in the account after it clears I will get. This is making me very upset that I am getting so many different answers. I was not given enough time to change my tax deposit around or my payroll.
