As far as we know, Neil Roe began his investment scams years ago here in Oregon. He promotes "high-yield trading programs" which he promises will generate over 300% interest in less than a year — at NO RISK to the investor.
Money from investors is placed in a "blocked bank account" which is used as collateral in a trading program that only the big boys like Bill Gates can participate in. Somewhere along the line the money vanishes from the bank and Mr. Roe slips away quietly.
As near as we can figure it, Roe has "invested" millions of dollars from people in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia (and probably some other places too). He has been under investigation by state, federal and international agencies, and he has at least one court ruling against him in Washington (Department of Financial Institutions). However, no one has been able to put a stop to his activities.
If you come across a great investment opportunity involving Mr. Roe or Mutual West Financial or Taipan Asset Management, contact the nearest fraud police as quickly as you can.
