The Manuel Brothers, namely Mark Manuel, Greg Manuel and Mike Manuel, are the subject of a federal grand jury investigation in Nashville, TN, into their activities surrounding several fraudulant investment schemes wherein they are alledged to have stolen millions from investors. The ponzi investment schemes, known by several names including MRT Holdings, MPIRE Holdings, Netgreeters, The Momentum Group, etc., reportedly scamed thousands out of nearly fifty million dollars. The Manuels would advertise these investment schemes as get rich quick high yield currency and gold trading programs.
The unwary investors often turned over their life savings to the Manuels on the promise of high monthly returns of 2 to 8%. The programs were ponzi schemes by definition in that they relied on future investor funds to pay back earlier investors. When future investors failed to materialize, the schemes went bust. The Manuels are also the targets of several class action lawsuits surrounding the same investment activities.
