Juniper bank Balance Transfer Pending, but still charged me the money it has been years

I was solicited by Barclays in October to do a balance transfer with 0% for 6 months. The transfer was supposed to be between Barclays and American Express. American Express claimed they never received the transfer, and barclays claimed they sent it.

I was immediately being charged by Barclays for the U$5000.00 however american express has never received this money. I have made hundreds of attempts to get AMEx barclays on the phone to work things out; no luck there.

Once I go through to a "corporate contact" in a New York Office who told that my account shows balance transfer pending which meant that they had NOT received a confirmation of paymentnumber form the "CheckFree" the company use to pay the Other side, in my case AMEX.

The person further speculated that the likely hood is that it never got done.

After 4 years, and multiple times paying of this money, my account still says balance transfer pending, meanwhile I may have picked a fight with the wrong side. And refused to Pay AMEX the 5K.in hind sight I wasn't there fault and they should be responsible for finding the payment send by barclays...

Looking through these complaints, it seems I am not alone. Other please have this same issue with balance transfers not going through but still being charged.
