Card Member Services have been pestering me constantly. I finally know who they are and am reportingthem. Their callers hang up on me when Iask who they are or get nasty when I tell them to remove my phone number. A computer dials my phone and gives a speechabout my credit cards. Press 9 to talkto a representative. Today I pressed 9and told the rep what she wanted to hear and listened to her speech. I told her I was interested and asked for thename of the company and contact information to verify they were legit beforegiving out my information.
Card Member Services represents First FinancialServices. Their phone number is866-682-0803. Website address is www.firstfinancialwellness.com. I called them directly and spoke toCustomer Service Assistant Supervisor Matthew. I told him that I have been receiving calls from them constantly. When I ask who they are, the caller hangsup. When I ask to be taken off theircall list, the caller gets nasty and hangs up. He asked me who was calling. Itold him Card Member Services. Hisinitial response was, thats not us. Isaid, yes it is. Today I spoke with arep and expressed interest. When sheasked for my info, I told her I had to check the company first. She gave your company name, phone number, etc. Matthew then confirmed it was hiscompany and hed remove my name from the call list.
I have tried several times to find out who Card MemberServices was with no luck. There arecomplaints all over the internet about this company. This company was offering debt renegotiationservices. To qualify, you must have$5000 or more in credit card debt, have cards with double digit interest ratesand at least one card in good standing. The last requirement scares me as I have no idea why that would beneeded unless they were stealing money.
