Charged escrow to my mortgage account for the past 5 years for insurance. The property has been insured since the inception of the original mortgage on March 31,1997. Proof has been provided to Fairbanks on several occasions. Property refinanced in Aug. escrow in the amount of $779.16 charged at payoff.
Fairbanks claims their records do no show escrow. I have payoff papers which states they were paid the above amount.
Also have original loans papers from first mortgage which states my mortgage was without escrow. Never signed any different papers for Fairbanks. I am only trying to recover my money or receive a satisfactory explanation of the escrow account. Property is insured personally by me with Travelers Insurance and also by the Condominium Association. All this info has been faxed to Fairbanks several times.
