Beware of this company promising quick turnaround time for equipment loans. I dealt with Mike Franke who pre-approved me and requested a check for first and last months payment as well as document process fee. I sent a check for $1608 and it was cashed promptly. The loan was for a piece of medical equipment for my practice. I was initially amazed as to how quick I received the pre-approval but since they were recommended to me by the vendor (who had limited dealings with them and no prior knowledge of their unfair practices), I thought nothing of it.
Then the troubles began. After the cash was checked, Mike Franke kept stating that the documents would arrive any day. They never come and 45 days later I learned from the vendor, that the funding would not go through. At no point did Mike Franke inform me that I would not be funded. He stated he would refund my money and to this day I have still not received a refund.
I did a little research which I should have done before, and I found many complaints against this company. I am amazed that in this day of financial regulations and strict government controls, this company is able to take advantage of so many consumers for such as long time.
The company's CEO is Marcus Davin and ultimately he is the biggest criminal of them all. I have notified the DAs office as well as contacting multiple TV networks. I also contacted the governor's office as well as the mayor of Aliso Viejo where this company is located.
At this point I have accepted the fact that I am unlikely to receive a refund. My sole purpose is to alert other consumers and go after Marcus Davin, Mike Franke, and Benchmark Financial Group. I will not rest until I see justice is done and if anyone is interested in a class action suit against Marcus Davin, please contact me.
Caveat emptor! Stay away from this company or you will regret it!
