I have been attending Kaplan University since Feb. I have been battling with the Financial Aid Dept. Since I started. I am having a problem getting my Financial Aid Disbursmants from my loans. I am trying to Transfer and it seems I am trapped at Kaplan because they say I owe a Balance. My plan was to pay off the balance with one of my disbursmants and then soon transfer to a local college. I dont think they are ever going to send me my student loans. Every week it seems they are verfying my account which is holding me up. I need some sort of legal advice on this one. They have enrolled me into 2 more classes and told me if I drop out Im going to owe them that balance. Can I still drop out of these two classes and wait to get my Financial Aid that they already owe me for the 2010 FASFA year? Or should I go ahead and do the courses? What should I do about getting my loans if Kaplan University Online is robbing me. Gabby
