I had got behind in my payments to Maple Street, so someone from customer service called me at work and stated that they could make an arrangment with me to pay half the amount within three months installments and the debt would be paid in full. I post-dated three checks for the which they automatically deducted from my checking account. I checked with my bank and all three checks was honored. I received a copy of my credit report and it listed my account with Maple street as bad reflection on my credit report because it listed the amount I had paid as not being paid. I disputed it with the Credit Bureau to investigate and they sent a response saying that it was a valid debt. I cannot find a telephone number for them so I found a fax number and fax them a copy of my letter, stating what had occurred. They sent me a letter stating that I had to send a clear copy of the front and back of the cancelled check but it was automatically deducted from my checking account. And I had to do it within 15 days. They have my account number, why can't they pull the record to show payments made. On the letter, as usual, they did not indicate a telephone number where I can call.
