I started a loan modification in Dec. 2008. I have not qualified 4 times and am now in a traditional mod. I was told I must make a payment in the $1,000.00s by Oct. 1, 2010. I tried all day on Sept. 22 for 2.5 hours on the phone to make the large payment. No one on the other end will handle my case. There were transfers all day long and disconnections, and I'm not sure. From everyone.
I have all the documentation of phone numbers, people, ID numbers, letters (37), late fees, batch inspection fees, delinquent fees, interest fees, and now at least $1,200.00 in their Att. fees. My mortgage has gone from $126,000.00 to well over $132,000.00. I had never been delinquent in the 14 years I have lived here, not until Citi told me to skip a payment in Feb. 2009. Now I am in foreclosure, and the offer they are saying I may accept is absurd. I don't know what else to do, since I have not heard from them in weeks.
