ABSA BANK Allowing fraudulent activity to continue and not putting security in place for debit cards

My debit card was cloned and R4000.00 drawn out of my account! Reported it to ABSA and was told they know about the fraud that is happening and they are just not doing anything to prevent it! Clearly because they make us to the brunt! ABSA simply just does not care about their clients. I have been told it is going to take nothing less than 18 days to get my money back because of their internal procedures. To be honest I dont give a rats ass about what they have to do! We give them our money to keep safe and then they just dont care about you once they are getting your business. I have asked for feedback from ABSA GREENSTONE about 5 times now and have received nothing! The fact that a big banking institution is allowed to give debit cards out knowing that they are easily frauded just blows my mind. After stopping my card I was issued with exactly the same type and look. So its just a matter of time before it happens again!

ABSA bank has a lot of money to its disposal and it can't even take R4000.00 and give me back my money while they investigate their * security cases. So I take the brunt for ABSA! PATHETIC is all I can say. I will update till I get my money back. End chpt 1
