I opened an account on June 8. Your checkcard is supposed to arrive in 7-10 days. As of the 21st of June, no card. The bank does not know where it is. And, you have to go into the actual branch to get a replacement. How can you do that when you are not in the state at the time?
Eventually, I returned to the branch to get another card sent. As of June 29th, I have not received it.
In the interim, a check was to have arrived to a payee as of June 21st. As of June 29th, they have not received the check. TCF wants to charge me a $35 fee for a stop check fee for a check sent by their bill pay service.
On June 29th, at approximately 10:50AM, employee number 21085 left me on hold indefinitely without getting a supervisor.
If you have been a victim of TCF, and you live in Northern Illinois; and, you have a complaint on this board, contact me. I will be getting financial restitution for this; and, putting an end to this practice. The more people who are involved the better.
