On 23 Oct I received an unsolicited telephone call from a SAM with First Approval Benefits. I told her I was ill from work that day and on medication, but I would listen to her presentation. Before I realized it, I was "sold" a credit card repair package and credit card with a $5000.00 limit.
HE required $299.00 from me via a bank draft. Foolishly, I gave it to her. HE then had HIS supervisor, James Reed, come on the line to verify the information. I should have suspected something as he spoke so quickly, I could barely understand him as he reeled off phone numbers and had me signing up for voice mail service at $12.95 per month as well.
