Repayment letters not received in time, 19 percent extra

I am very unhappy with this company. The letters about repayment of my loans never reached me until it was too late. By then they said I now owed an extra 19 percent and that everything was due in full. I had not completed school, but because I had been out for more than 6 months, the loans moved into repayment. I asked about my options and was told to settle the entire amount or have my checks garnished.
