Commited Fraud by taking $1,488 as an upfront fee and then not delivering

If you read what the person from Portland, OR wrote below, that is EXACTLY what happened to me, word for word. Their M.O. Is exactly the same: it starts with a seductive ad on Craigslist for an exciting business opportunity making cash advances to small and medium sized businesses. They promise you can make a 6-figure income by easily doing an average of 15 loans a month. They tell you the avg. Loan amount on the 15 loans is $15,000, and they promise you an 8% commission, or $1,200 per loan. At 15 loans, that works out to $18,000/mo income for you the agent. PLUS, they promise you a residual income of $1,100/mo, which increases to $2,200 the 2nd month, $3,300 the 3rd month and so on. However, you have to pay an UPFRONT FEE of $1,488 to cover the cost of obtaining a list of 5,000 names of businesses in your area that need loans, and that have been filtered and worked on by their marketing team out of Glendale, CA. Please read my previous complaint, it is a direct quote from the application they sent me. So I sent them the $1,488 by US Postal Money Order on May 22nd, and then they stopped returning telephone messages or responding to my email questions.

After more than a week, Mandel finally sent me a brief email saying "How can we help you?" I was shocked since I thought I would be getting the list of the 5,000 prospects, and his email made no mention of it. He then went on to say that I should now go ahead and find my first client on my own by calling on restaurants and liquour stores, etc. When I told him this was not what was agreed on, he once again stopped contacting me. Since May 28th I have made countless phone calls and written countless emails which have been ignored.interestingly enough, BEFORE I sent the $1,488, he would return my calls within minutes. This man and this company is a sham and a cheat. Please do NOT get involved with them under any circumstances. I have written to the Better Business Bureau and have contacted an attorney. I suggest anyone that has had a similar experience contact the Better Business Bureau so we can stop this scumbag. Mandel is exactly what the other poster from Portland calls him, a con artist and a low life criminal that steals money from unsuspecting Americans who are looking hard for an opportunity to do business. He preys on them and deceives them in order to get an upfront fee of $1,488 from each, and then does a disappearing act. I hope you good people out there read this before falling for his fraudulent scheme like I did. I am sickened by the whole experience.

Any by the way, they never EVER answer their phones. You always have to leave a message and they supposedly will get back to you right away. I investigated their address and apparently it's a Packaged Office type of deal with central phone answering. When a live person does answer, they give you no information but just answer "Corporate Offices". When Mandel was courting me to be an Affiliate he gave me what he said was his direct line, but he also never answers that either, and you always have to leave a message. And then once he gets your money, he stops returning any calls you make or answering emails.
