Citibank Mortgage
Mortgage Payment Held Until Late, Then $40.05 Fee Charged

My payment is due on the first. It is late after the 15th. They hold the payment until it is late and then sock you with a $40.05 late fee. I would like to pay online, but they will not let me because I filed bankruptcy. I can have no access to my mortgage statement because of the bankruptcy. I now have to wait 7-10 years before I can pay online.

If the payment is postmarked before the due date, they must go by the postmark, not by when someone decided to open the mail and process it. What a scam...

I will send it certified from now on and someone will sign for it...
