I went to work as an associate for CFPG (Certified Financial Planning Group) or fha365.com because they touted themselves as above board and one of the few legitimate loan modification companies out there.
My clients had been ripped off twice before, and I assured them that this company was the good guys - little did I know they not only took my client's money, but stiffed me on my commission as well!
My clients paid the fees as requested, and sent the monthly fee as well - and I provded them with all of the documentation that they requested on their checklist. We never heard from them again.
I spent the next 6 months hounding them for a response - all I got was a voicemail boxe that were constantly full - so I couldn't leave a message. When I was able to leave a message - no one ever returned the call.
I have a phone log of over 27 times I called their office - and when I was able to get a hold of one of the owners who must have answered by mistake, he assured me he would look into it and get back to me. Ha! What a joke. Of course he never returned the call.
I must have spent 12 hours with my client, gathering all of the paperwork, following their checklist to the letter. Do you think that mattered? When I was able to get a hold of someone - I got the same patent two responses that they must use with everyone: 1. They left messages with the client and the client never returned the call (which is a flat out lie according to my client) and 2. They are still waiting for documentation that was requested (which is also another lie - because they were unable to tell me precisely what documenation they were referring to).
When I questioned them why I was never paid my commission - they said they would look into it and get back to me. Of course they never did. This has gone on for over 9 months now - and after more than 27 documented phone call and dozens of e-mails, I've had enough.
Now I was told that their payroll company is holding up their checks for over 2 months now! I'm sure you will be seeing more complaints filed here. Here is a partial list of people I spoke to:

3. Mike Waymon, One of the owners
4. Don Brokaw, Director of operations
5. Steve Rish,
6. April Johnson,
7. John Anderson,
8. Jonathan Howard (and others)

I must say that the only person who returned my call once was April Johnson who is in charge of payroll - and she sort of told me it was out of her control. What's that supposed to mean?
I think this company will soon find themselves on the California Department of Justice's list as indicted. Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in filing a class action law suit.
