Fairbanks Capital
Ripoff we all need to stick together to serve justice to them!

Well, I'm here again writing more info.

I'm still sorry to see that people are having such grief with Fairbanks. I have resigned my position there, because it was just too much. And my health was suffering from all the stress that the job was causing me, and they wouldn't let me use my benifits to get better, so I had to resign.

Now they are making it nearly impossible for me to find work. I've been applying for positions I'm well qualified for, but because I have the mark of Fairbanks I'm not getting a job. Or maybe they are just making false accusations about my character.

They just don't want to keep good employees there who are trying to help the public. They look for ways to get rid of them, and ruin their lives, just as they are trying to ruin the lives of many homeowners throughout the US.

It's really sad to see the way they treat customers, and continue to do so, after they have made many statements that things were going to change. I really don't think things will ever change there. A few months ago, when they started revamping the company, they got rid of a lot of upper management, I thought were doing a good job, and trying to fix many of the issues that were going on and telling us as well as the customers that things will change for the better. It doesn't look like that has happened, and maybe never will.

A few days ago, another co-worker had posted on these boards. And got a few responses, one of the was from someone who couldn't understand why people would want to work there.

Well, I'll tell ya. People need jobs, and me and my friend are both very decent honest people, who were desperately trying to help as many customer's as we could, by giving them all the info that we were able to, to save them from the DREADED FAIRBANKS, and try to get issues resolved and let the customer's know the laws, so they were able to stand up against Fairbanks.

ALL CALLS ARE RECORDED. That's a great benefit for the customer. Make sure you are letting them record it, so there is a record of something, and not just hear say. Also they must tell you they are recording you or you can't use it against them, and visa/versa.

If you want to record the call yourself, please tell them, because if you don't you can't use it against them, because you have to have their consent.

As far as DISPUTES go, from what they told us, they have to follow the law; any time you have a dispute, send it in writing either by fax or mail. (Sorry I don't have the info, I no-longer work there, and don't remember) Hopefully it is still printed on the statements.

Personally I would send the dispute certified so someone could sign for it, and I think they have 60 days to resolve it.

Be sure to follow up, and call them to make sure they received it.

There is a Dispute Department there, if you are having ongoing issues that aren't being resolved by collections or customer service, then asked someone to transfer you to the ERU, *executive response unit* hopefully someone there can help and get it resolved.

And any time you ask for a supervisor in collections, you must get one, don't ever let anyone tell you there aren't any on the floor, there are always supervisors on the floor, sometimes they are just too lazy to work. And there are managers over those supervisor. From what I heard when I worked there, which I don't understand, but they told us there aren't supervisors in customer service, that those calls get escalated to the ERU.

I don't know if any of this helps, but its just some info, I thought I would pass on. I will check back and help any time I can.

God Bless to All & Good Luck
