This company has been ripping my family and me off for over 2 years now and I am sick and tired of them.
My mortgage was in a forbearance agreement from Wachovia with Fairbanks. I paid Fairbanks over $3,000.00 to go into a forbearance agreement. I sent my payments, when all of a sudden I was sent paperwork stating I had a check being returned for insufficient funds (there was money in my checking account for this payment). To this date, 1 year later, neither I nor my bank have ever received this insufficient check back.
I called Fairbanks only to be pushed off to people who knew nothing about my account. All of a sudden I was sent paperwork stating that I owe taxes, insurance, etc. on my mortgage. I do not have any of this escrowed with my mortgage. I have proof that I sent and signed for at least 2 payments at Fairbanks that they can not find. Many more checks and money orders were sent that they conveniently can not find.
NOW MY HOME IS BEING SOLD. I am in a class action suit against them, but this may take up to 2-3 years. I WILL LOSE MY HOME BY THEN.
How long will this ripoff company be allowed to function and keep ripping off us Americans?
