I recently bought a "new" 46in Sony Lcd Tv from Frys online
It was a great price $697
I watched the tracking info daily as I was looking forward to recieving it
When it arrived, what a dissapointment, the box looked like it had been beaten with a baseball bat, I would have automatically blamed the delivery company, but the online site where I found the deal had a few posts from people who had just recieved their tvs in similar shape
So i videotaped the entire process
The TV was actually hanging out of the box, it was cracked everywhere and just in case anyone thinks it was the delivery companys fault, the electric cord was unwound and the remote had the batteries installed, their was fingerprints on the screen, and all the styrofoam was just stuck back in the box higgeldy-piggeldy plus there was markings on the box from where it had been delivered to someone else at least twice
I repeat this was supposed to be a new TV
I refused delivery and am now waiting for the TV to get back to their warehouse so I can buy one from a local store
As for Frys, buyer beware
From what I can see on the online site that I found the deal on, at least 4 of these TVs arrived in similar shape
