On 3-19, I discovered a $34.19 debit in my checking acct. On looking farther,
I found that a company called liberty discount club had sent a self generated check through on my acct. This check was unsigned, and numbered 3338 which is odd because I have no checks numbered beyond 1200! I have not ever heard of this company.
I immediatly called the number and cancelled the account and was told to go to a website for a refund. I did this and everytime i submitted it, it said it could not verify my acct. All info. They told me to give was entered and it still could not verify my acct.
They did not have any trouble verifing my acct. When they withdrew my money! I had my bank do a dispute on this and they are looking at it as internet fraud. Unfortunatly, they had already paid the check before I caught it!
My bank is trying to get my money back for me. I amgoing to turn these thieves over to bbb, fair trades comm., andthe federal authorities if I have to. After seeing all the people who have been ripped off by these people, it is time that it stopped!
