I made an insurance payment early. The Amount was pending according to online banking. The balance however was not adjusted. I withdrew $20 twice, once for an errand for my Grandmother, another to help another family member, gasoline... 2 other purchases which were about $5. I checked my account on that evening, which said I overdrew on the insurance payment. Which set my balance being overdrawn on that one item. I was upset but figured I'd see in the morning. When I checked in the morning they hit me with 4 more overdrafts for piddly $5 purchases, -$35 for each. They then reset my balance to MAKE SURE that my already deposited direct
deposit payroll check from the night before was delayed and shown as pending so that they could send through that insurance payment calling it delinquent and thus hit me for all other 4 uses of my debit. This direct deposit is always in the day before and they delayed its status on purpose. I don't even think that is legal. I will not even begin to ask for more punishment in the future and am prepared to close my account with the bank at some point tomorrow. There is NO POINT to online account info if it is not accurate within an hour or two, none. Wells Fargo is truly underhanded.
