Cancelled cards —because I PAID them off

Our criticism is just a significant issue regarding the Constitutionality of the BofA "consultant" shutting two of my Lender of America charge cards without cause. I settled my two high-interest charge cards off a couple of days before now I obtained a phone call from the consultant informing me that I'd to truly have a "credit evaluation" together with her by telephone. Our caller-id didn't show the contact was from BofA and that I informed her used to do not need to interact together with her via telephone. She mentioned that my BofA charge cards could be transformed and that I might obtain info via email about this. She was so extremely rude that I understood enough to get hold of my local lender. Certain enough. Less than one hour later I discovered this snarling repetition terminated my charge cards.

Easily was to become "examined" for my credit history, she didn't acquire any info from me to create her choice. Quite simply, she terminated my balances centered on only info from my credit report, that will be not really a poor report. Just how can she unilaterally come to a decision that my debt to revenue percentage is incorrect if she doesn't have all of the info? She terminated my cards (since I SETTLED THEM) and also the effect on my credit score is likely to be undesirable. Our "standing" was good together while I had been spending 25% attention and it is abruptly "not appropriate" since I settled them down

I've go through a number of other articles below about related circumstances. Unsure I've observed one where cards were terminated simply because they were reduced. Clearly, from what I've observed, change in types "standing" is available period for BofA to use whichever gestapo tactics they need. If it has occurred to other people and/or when there is any option anybody knows of for me personally, please let me understand. I would be thankful.
