I was looking for a loan modification program, as many are these days, and found a website called Payment Help Center. After speaking to the rep, I decided to start the process and he informed me the cost would be over 1200.00, this included an initial fee of 395.00, which I imediately paid using my atm account. After reading the contract that was e-filed to me I, and speaking to my family, I decided this was not the best way or comapny to do the loan with. Within the next few hrs, I called and cancelled the agreement, faxed a letter stating such and notifyed the bank. The money had already been withdrawn and the rep told me on the phone that he had recieved the fax cancelling the agreement. The Homeowner's Right of Cancellation, which they emailed me, states that I can cancel within 5 days, without any penalty or obligations. It has now been over 30 days, and I have not recieved my refund, I called the rep several times and he has not called back. I have called the so called customer service and they have not responded. How do I get my money back?
