Note that bonuses are not refunded - they make it look like this is free money to play with, but when it comes to withdrawals then the bonus is deducted. For example, if you deposit $500 and get a bonus of 100, you have 600 in the account. If you then lose 100, you think you have 500 again. Then you want to withdraw your 500 but no you actually can only withdraw 400 because the 100 bonus is deducted. So watch out. Also the withdrawal process is complicated, while you deposit with a credit card, you are required to mail or scan and email in a form with a photocopy of your credit card in order to withdraw. So to deposit, you just give your credit card, but to withdraw, you have to mail in a form. Another strange thing - I found a negative review of etrade on yahoo answers - then when I searched for it a few minutes later, I couldn't find it anymore, it had been removed...? Maybe they can remove bad reviews? Anyway that review, among other things, said that the company is actually located in Cyprus. There is a big come-on about the bonuses and it gives you the impression that there is nothing to lose, but read the fine print.
