I got sucked into the scam by the logos from reputable companies like Google and Forbes which appear on the website. The site currently looks slightly different than on 11/10/09 and the "trial membership" was $1.00 when I had joined. At that time there was no mention of additional charges or membership fees on the main page, and if there was a link to a disclaimer it was not noticeable.
The site wording had suggested that I will receive shipment with information for the $1.00 fee, but what I had received was an email with a link to download their software. I had never done that and had assumed that this would be the end of this transaction.instead I had been billed $129.95 and then $39.98 by another affiliate of this company.
I had never received any services and I had filed a dispute through my credit card. However, I do not believe that the money will be refunded to me since I did enter into an agreement with Income Easy Street although their business practices are deceitful and dishonest.
This site should be shut down and the owners forced to refund the money to people who they had duped with misleading logos, false advertising, and hard to find disclaimers.
